Everybody in the world probably knows by now that I’m “into” bikes. I don’t know much about ‘em, but luckily all you need to know is how to stay up; the rest comes naturally.
Which is why YOU (yes, dahlink, you) have no excuse. It’s Bike Week (part of National Bike Month) and I want to hear about where you rode your bike this week.
To work? Radical! To the park? Sweet! To the bar? OK but be careful riding home. To the store? You, friend, are awesome.
Didn’t ride anywhere yet? Tell me, right now, where you will ride. Then do it.
NOTE: I didn’t ride anywhere yet either, but I most certainly will have to go get groceries soon. In the meantime, here’s a photo of me and my crazy hair after I rode home at 7am in the snow. See? if I can do it you can too.

If I had my wish? it would be a whole lot of L&T posts just like this one.
I’m at work, but I’ll ride around the faubourg when I get home tonight. Mebbe even take a picture.
These photos are teh serious shiznit.
I spent all day with my lovely mom bike riding around Portland. It was fantastic. So far my staycation has been fantastic. Biking has made it even better. :)
To and from work every day :) I love my bike. In fact, I love my bike so much I think I’ll take it for a service today to celebrate bike week. :D
Oh and since it’s not bike week in the UK until June, I’ll just celebrate it twice over! ;)
Hooray! A couple of good tweets too –
@CloudCounter says “Hey Ya! I bike or work to work almost every day – regardless of bike week. My car sometimes remains in the garage for a week.”
@trebuchet says “I’ll be biking to work at least a couple of times this week – My route takes me along the LA River -no traffic, quiet, lots of birds”
So far, so good.
Welcome, new friends! How cool to have biking in common.
Ahhh,, the LA river route. That’s the reason I didn’t get a driver’s license until I was 20.
- Update – I rode my bike to CostCutters and Elite Beauty College to pass out Matter of Trust hair boom flyers. It was fun, and I think it added gravitas to my arguments.
