sushi pops?!?!?

www.sushipopper.com

i didnt know if i should post this under food or not.

at first glance i was horrified and thought “god. i would never let this near my mouth” but as i read on it seems they theorize that it could be consumed in ball parks which i suppose is better than eating hot dogs, then i realized that some people might replace hot dogs with chili dogs but never sushi pops.

then i saw that the packaging is somewhat eco-friendly and the design is very very clever.

but the final verdict is that I am still horrified.

would you eat these?

As a fan of food on a stick, I would definitely give it a try. I am always concerned when it comes to mass produced raw fish products. Wait… I don’t think I have ever had any mass produced raw fish product.

OK, so I am a little concerned, but it IS on a stick.

    I am torn.

I would absolutely put it in my face hole, though.

I would try it, once. Try anything once.

Like Rambo over there, I’m more concerned about eating mass-produced sushi than about the stick thing.

    That said… sheesh. SHEESH.

that was actually my second thought right after the visceral, gut-wrenching thought of sushi on a stick.
i still says “ew” and “no way duder”

Is it just the packaging? Sushi made locally? I’d eat it. Not from a vending machine maybe.

It is definitely prepackaged in its cool little package BUT its frozen and sent out as frozen food.
weird if ya ask me. I dont even like sushi after i put it in the fridge over night.

Oh, yeah, that is yucky. Fresh and frozen are mutually exclusive in my book.

errr. not quite sure the packaging is ecological… it says recyclable plastic used meaning i can chose to put it in the recycling bin, and it probably comes in a cardboard box (or maybe they are using more plastic to save the trees). am i really saving millions of trees by not using compostable chopsticks, or am i polluting water by using plastics destined to be recycled down.

i vote nay: i would much rather eat a mystery-meat pogo stick.

Good catch! Crap, they totally got me with that one. I saw the word “recyclable” and read “recycled”
