Try This: Flower Bombs

It’s a beautiful day today, and while oil rigs explode somewhere far away, I’d like to recommend that we all take some time to cultivate beauty in our immediate surroundings.

Flowerbombs are an awesome way to get out a little anger (after all, you are throwing things), but with the most positive effect imaginable. How better to channel your mixed emotions about the environment, than by turning them into beauty grenades?

Here’s a video I made while guerilla gardening last summer in Louisville. Flowerbombing: try it at home.

(note: just in case you’re wondering, we mostly threw our flowerbombs in vacant lots, along the sides of roads and parks, and in places where they’d be appreciated instead of mowed. Don’t mess with people’s ridiculous landscaping, it’s not worth it.)
