Can the Plastic Bag Rap pass the ban?

There’s always another way to spread a message – a parody of Jay-Z’s ‘Empire State of Mind’, of course, intended to support the anti-plastic movement. With all the awful info on plastic, why do people keep using the stuff?

Maybe, just maybe, a rap would help inspire action.

What do you think? Would a plastic bag rap make you go reusable? How about pressure your local officials to enact that plastic bag ban?

In a word, Yes. Yes, this could do it.

So much of what I learned about the world was volunteering in a Special Ed high school. Nobody wants to be ‘appropriate’, but even Fetal Alcohol Syndrome teenagers will quit doing something because it isn’t ‘cool’. And using plastic bags is worse than farting after the principal’s speech on manners any day.

Great find, Upcycledlove. (and the diva soloist has a fantastic voice!)

Thanks! I agree, diva soloist rocks! I love how she sings ‘Convenience will kill you’ I wish I could blast that part to everyone on the street. Not a bad idea – get a bunch of anti-plastics together, have a street party and blast anti-plastic songs.
